Each with a flat, violin-shaped back, curved armrests, and broad seat, standing on 4 curved legs. The beechwood frame displays carved decoration of flowers, acanthus leaves and decorative flourishes.

Superb quality of manufacture in the Louis XV style, France, early 20th century.

Newly upholstered in a brocatelle Louis XV from Edmond Petit, consisting of a blue satin ‘fleurs des Indes’ design of branches, leaves and flower blossoms on a pale gold ground.

In superb condition all around.
