Excellent condition. Structurally sound. Small losses / repairs to the gilding. Newly upholstered.
This armchair of generous proportions is purposefully carved and finished with a warm, nicely patinated gilding. Trimmed with perfectly matched gilt tacks. The fabric has a bronze wool motif on a varied purple/blue silk background. The result is an armchair that is masculine in character, without any hint of severity. Lovely.
